The Import from a CSV File is a utility provided to insert data from an external source into the Jiwa database. It has been designed primarily for importing data for kicking off a new system. By using this utility, data integrity can be assured as all data is correctly formatted and linked to the correct internal structures. The import is located under the menu option General Ledger 
Utilities General Ledger Account Import.
All data to be imported is row based (i.e. - one complete record = one row). Records spanning multiple rows in the source document cannot be imported. This utility is to insert new records only. If the ledger account already exists, it canot be imported again and will error with an error message.
