Jiwa Reporting
This section covers the concepts of report printing
and the report types that are provided with Jiwa Financials.
A detailed description and example of each report can be found in the
Jiwa Example Reports.
There are five
types of reports that are included with Jiwa.
- Screen reports
that generate a copy of the current record on your screen
- Sales order reporting
that prints various reports - invoice, delivery note, consignment note
etc depending on the status and billing type of the order
- Processing reports
that accompany a process run - eg Process Sales Orders, Back Order Processing
- Standard Jiwa
menu reports accessed from each relevant Jiwa module
- Reports applicable
to your organisation only - designed in-house or created by an external
consultant
- Reports are directed
to either the screen or the printer, and parameters may be required before
the report can be generated. A report directed to the screen can
be output for export to another file format or to the electronic mail
system.
The reports are grouped in five categories: AUD - audit, INF
- information, MGT
- management, MNT - maintenance,
TRN – transaction.
All reports have a naming convention; the first letters
indicate the module (DB – debtors) the next indicates the category (MGT – management) then the number of
the report. Eg the Debtors Aged
Balance Summary has the name DBMGT010.
