quick steps

1.	General Ledger Maintenance
2.	Click New to create a new account
3.	Type in account number and description
4.	Select Category and Class
5.	Selected required details in Postings tab if appropriate
6.	Save the new account number

Creating a new ledger account at the posting level will prompt to automatically create all the necessary Parent accounts
