To display a smaller version of the ribbon, display the Toolbar instead. Right click on the Ribbon bar to select the ‘Toolbar’ view. If the option ‘Minimize the Ribbon’ is ticked then only the Toolbar is displayed.
Right mouse click in the Toolbar to use the Ribbon and hide the Toolbar.
The Ribbon/Toolbar display selection is stored per user per form so one form may have the Ribbon displayed and others the Toolbar
