managing menus

The ability to rename, insert and remove items on the Menu is controlled by two forms - Explorer Menu and Item Properties. Right click over the Jiwa menu and opening the Explore menu item, you can view or create a New item, delete menu options, copy and paste or move menu options.

New items can be a folder, form, report, external DLL or an external exe. Existing menu items can be deleted, renamed, cut or copied or have their properties changed. Drag and Drop allows the menu items to be re-arranged with ease.

By default the Administrator has permissions to make these changes. Permissions can be given to users to allow them to make changes to the menu as well. Refer to Permissions.

The menu details are stored in Jiwa.xml file on each computer or in each users profile if using Terminal Services, any menu changes update the Jiwa.xml Refer to changing Jiwa Menu by:
