The Connection Assistant is used to create a new connection, reconfigure an existing connection, delete a connection and test a connections. Each instance of Jiwa that is installed will need to have a connection configured.
When you create a new sample database or new JIWA 7 database, a connection will be created at the end of that process.
Steps
| 1. | Launch Jiwa and select Connections |
| 2. | Select Create a new connection and click Next |
| 3. | Connection Name - type in name for your connection |
| 4. | Server - select from the drop down list or type in the SQL Server name |

| 5. | Database - select the database from the drop down list and click Next |
| 6. | Click Next |
| 7. | Click Finish |
| 8. | Click Close |
The login screen is now displayed with this new connection name populated into the login screen.
