Credit Details and Status 

Provides for more detailed debtor information together with the current credit status of the customer.  End of Period processing has the option of placing aged period accounts on Hold

Steps

Debtor Trading Details

 

Trading Name - of the customer which may an be different from the debtor account name

 

Company Name - full company name, which may be different from the trading name

 

Proprietors Name - owner of the business.  Detail completed where the customer is not a company

 

Commenced - system date debtor record was created.  Can be edited

 

ACN - company number where applicable

 

ABN – Australian Business Number where applicable

 

Terms – days from either invoice or statement. Used for reports

 

I-Commerce Enabled – allows customers access to the database. Used by external developers. Login name and password are maintained in the contacts details

Debtor Credit Details

 

Hold - to prohibit the creation of new sales orders for the debtor. This can be automatically set for aged accounts at End of Period processing, or the status can be manually checked/unchecked in the debtor record

 

Credit Limit  - line of credit allowed to the client.  The system applies checks as sales orders are being entered.  If the credit limit is being exceeded on the order, a message appears -

            “ Credit limit is exceeded - do you want proceed?”

Debtor Director/ Partner

 

Directors/Partner - name, address and position of directors of the company or partners of the business

Debtor Notes

 

Notes - of contracts and agreements signed with the customer
